G&J Plant Crane Limited is an accredited, insured and competent lifting operations and lifting equipment (LOLER) inspection service. We are qualified to inspect a range of lifting equipment including lorry mounted cranes, scissor lifts, heavy plant construction machinery as well as lifting accessories (slings, shackles, fork lift fittings, block tackles, chains etc).
We work nationally across the UK, Northern and the Republic of Ireland conducting heavy plant construction equipment LOLER inspections to ensure clients comply with their legal lifting obligations including conformance to the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
We provide technical advice and support to H&S incidents and accidents involving heavy plant construction machines. Using a range of calibrated equipment, we are able to accurately measure and record underslung loads as well as machine inclination.
We offer a completely managed LOLER and PUWER management service using a client’s Workshop Management System. Operators and owners of construction plant machines need to ensure that an excavator use thorough examination at least every 12 months.
We are members of The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI), an organisation founded in 1978 at the request of the Health and Safety Executive.
Our Story
We started in 2012 and operate from premises in Sussex. We have several national plant hire clients and routinely conduct LOLER inspections for Tier 1 construction companies. As members of ALLMI we have previously been instructed to support incidents and accidents involving heaving plant machines.
